Our advisory services to individuals are extremely broad, and include, but not limited to;
- Advising on the options available to an individual struggling with debt. The options available vary depending your level of assets and debt you may have. We can talk you through these options and explain why some may be available to you, and why you do not qualify for others. We will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of each option. This enables you make an informed choice on the route you may wish to take
- Providing directors with advice on how company insolvencies may impact them personally, in terms of fiduciary duties and personal finances. Insolvency Practitioners are often unable to provide advice on both company insolvencies and personal debt as this can be a conflict for the practitioner, as such should you need separate advice we able to provide this.
- Advising on the threat of action against you for monies owed. You may not require a formal insolvency, but have the threat of action being taken against you in the form of a statutory demand, County Court Judgement (CCJ) or Bankruptcy petition, and require some further help and advice.
- Advice with arrears of taxes. We can help negotiate with HM Revenue and Customs with regards time to pay arrangements, and the impact on options available to you for dealing with your debt
There is an overwhelming amount of information for dealing with debt on the internet, some from Government and regulated sources, but also much from unregulated sources and advisers that only have an awareness of the options available, which can result in problems later.
